So happy to see someone else has her as their top pick. I absolutely loved her in that film, and I am still bummed it wound up being an also-ran when I thought it was going to go all the way. I'll never understand what happened with Lincoln either. It had great reviews, it was a hit, had a dozen nominations, no real detractors or controversy, but it just faded away in the race, even after Affleck got snubbed and it looked like Spielberg could win Director. Well with 2012 and 2013 there are just a small few films that I still need to see, but I use other peoples as starting points to fill in some blindspots. |
