RE: ATP/WTA Thread: Murray Got Back
Unsurprising. Really, Murray is the only male player who has been praising women's tennis over the last few years. I understand it might not be the greatest time in the women's game in terms of personalities and quality, but these comments are flat-out sexist.
That said, I love both Murray and Lopez. And their asses could stop traffic. |

Pennetta completely imploded in that final set tie-breaker, but that was a very entertaining match regardless.

Halep has blown one too many big matches for me not to see a pattern.

RE: ATP/WTA Thread: Murray Got Back
I checked the match stats and Nadal won 10 points more than Raonic in his match last week. Considering each player had the same number of service games and each was only broken once, that's pretty unusual.

RE: ATP/WTA Thread: Murray Got Back
Nadal must have been getting into Raonic's serve games more than Raonic was into Nadal's serve games. What was Nadal's break points converted percentage?

He also had three MPs and could've easily closed it in two, so it was a really close match. That said, tennis allows for very bizarre things to happen score-wise: I still remember Edberg losing to Stich in London in a match where he broke his opponent's serve and never got his own broken (4/6, 7/6, 7/6, 7/6).

RE: ATP/WTA Thread: Murray Got Back
If Nadal doesn't find his form during the clay season, he's in danger of dropping really low in the rankings (and not having any strong result in a major in the past year).

RE: ATP/WTA Thread: Murray Got Back
He's very candidly confessed that he tightens up in these three setters and isn't able to shake it off as fast as he used to. It's all mental, but it has a very real effect over his game (short forehands, loopy sliced backhand).

Nadal was 1-7 on break points, Raonic 1-4.

RE: ATP/WTA Thread: Murray Got Back
Anyone know what happened to Dolgopolov in this match? He was up a set and 4-1 on Novak before losing 12 of the last 13 games.
