RE: Golden Globes, SAG, etc.....
Happy to see actors remember Orange Is the New Black. Yay!
I was expecting Millie Bobby Brown to make it, since SAG seems like the awards group most friendly to recognizing young performers. But cool to see Stranger Things also get Ryder and Ensemble. Netflix really cleaned up here. |

MBB set the age record for TV individual performance as well.

I'm not so sure about that unless we're strictly talking about series because Jena Malone and Keke Palmer both individual SAG noms for TV Movie/Miniseries. Jena was, I believe 12, and Keke was only 11, I think. |

Also, it look like Lauren Graham and Kelly Bishop aren't going to be getting any love for Gilmore Girls. Bummer.

RE: Golden Globes, SAG, etc.....
I believe Jeremy Maguire (from Modern Family) is the youngest person to get a SAG nom....EVER. He's only 5 apparently. The same age as my nephew.

Aubrey Anderson-Emmons from "MoFam" had to be about the same age when she got in with the ensemble for the first time as well.

RE: Golden Globes, SAG, etc.....
If the window for TV and film is the same, it was released in time. But I couldn't find any info on where it was submitted/eligible here. I still believe the new Emmy rules dictate that it's a regular drama (anything that was previously submitted as a series can't switch to limited - "X-Files" Rule - and anything over a half hour is a drama unless they petition it) so I think that hurts Graham and Bishop there. Did anyone ever find out where they were eligible at the SAGs? Lauren's previous noms were in Drama, but I thought it might be Limited this time around?

RE: Golden Globes, SAG, etc.....
It seems like Netflix, of all networks, would've made sure that it was eligible. So I can't imagine it's a timing issue.
It's a bummer. Great work from both women. Should've been recognized |
