Great debut for the season. Loved the intro putting Trump front and center again to kick it off.

I missed Diane. I missed Luca. I loved the little Pilates aside Baranski and Houdyshall shared in the cemetery. I'll miss Barbara. I'm sad they couldn't figure out what to do with her; especially when black hole Maia remains at the center. She's every bit uninteresting (so is Leslie's performance) as she was last season. I hope the Kings have a plan with this Rindell storyline mapped out now.

Also, Delroy Lindo has the worst pronunciation ever.

I haven’t seen this yet but started re-watching The Good Wife recently. Once this current season of Fight finishes, I’ll get my free week or whatever so I can watch this show.

The new episode was the greatest thing I've seen on TV in at least a year. I was dying laughing. And holy crap, that preview for the next episode? They are venting full crazy and I'm loving it.

Batshit. Total batshit, in the best possible way. The commercial at the end - they've really just lost it and I totally get it.

The conversations about race this season, especially the last two episodes, aren't like anything else I remember on TV. There were so many things to pick apart here - playing a stereotypical part, which Adrian also questioned last episode, while in the middle of the argument for the left... that's a huge conversation in and of itself. Then there's the debate on the validity of truth as a whole in Trumpland in their case, and I thought the Marissa/Maia tie in with ideas on what makes for "good and bad people" was clever. Lucca suddenly becoming a sort of political figure almost gave me an Alicia vibe. That hilarious chorus of "If You're Happy and You Know It" was the perfect sing-song mirror of the crazy going on everywhere, and reminded me of "I Will Trust in the Lord" from Season 6 on Good Wife pairing with the oppo research.

So much to pick apart. Really challenging for me and at the same time, I can feel it in my gut when Diane talks about taking to the streets and losing it. With the last couple of episodes, this show has elevated itself from solid, smart TV to must watch TV. As nuts as it may be, it's absolutely brilliant. And - are they really going to put Trump on trial? I can just see the writers saying fuck it, if we don't get our conviction then we'll put him on trial right here. I'm here for it, and this Kill the Lawyers theme is paying off in spades (couldn't help it).

The impeachment storyline is riveting. I'm salivating at Diane curdling in Trumpland; I dare her to go dark. The way the show uses race is fascinating for sure, but Lucca's response tweet was tone-deaf. Sally Hemmings was a slave. Of course she wouldn't have a law degree.

I also don't like anything about Lucca/Colin at all. I'm not a fan of pregnancies on shows because they're so simplified for audiences. It's absurd Lucca would have Colin's baby for exactly the reasons she explained to Maia. That the audience didn't even see the thought behind her decision to keep was ridiculous.

The most recent episode was vintage Good Wife/Good Fight, but holy shit the previews for next week and the pee tape. Wow.

Another must see episode, and last week's was great too. I love the feeling that this season is building towards something, though it's hard to say exactly what.
