RE: Big Brother 19
I fast forwarded through most of the last 2 episodes. These are supposedly grown ass adults who passed a psych eval, right?

RE: Big Brother 19
That's the rumor. *sigh*
Can we just have five people evicted this week? Not even sure I care which five... |

RE: Big Brother 19
So Jess or Cody are gonna be nominated again and barring any veto surprises, one of them is going home. What a waste of a week. Watch Cody win the veto comp and give it to Jess.

RE: Big Brother 19
Understandably conversation has stopped about this season. It seemed clear to me this cast was giving Paul the win. Now I've read Matt told Raven going after Cody this week is huge because it means Paul is safe until final 5. In discussing who to put up, Alex was worried about who might flip on Paul. WTF?!?! These people literally showed up to hand this thing to Paul.

RE: Big Brother 19
People love to talk shit about Natalie from last season but she at least knew Paulie had to fucking go. No Natalie this season. Frustrating.

RE: Big Brother 19
I guess this season's Natalie is...Mark? I will say that while Paul (who's still annoying as shit) did a good job establishing both trust and himself within his alliance, he really lucked out that Cody (and Jess) turned out to be such a massive shitbox that it gave everybody a reason to form a united front (and a sense of collegiality) against him. I still think people will eventually turn against Paul and try to get rid of him though.
This is yet another season in which TPTB made a point to edit out all the transphobic shit that the contestants have been saying. If I'm commenting less, that's why. |

RE: Big Brother 19
Yeah they make a point to let popular characters get a pass for really upsetting behavior, which is just another reason to be frustrated from the show. I never enjoyed Cody as a person - only as a potential tripping point for Paul.
This may end up being Big Brother's version of Redemption Island. I'm not even seeing Paul's pawns have an interest in turning on him anytime soon - Josh briefly flirted with the idea, then got back in line. A Mark HOH would be amazing and he's claiming he'd put up Paul and Alex, which would be amazing. I'm not getting my hopes up though, and these last two seasons have kind of bummed me out on the show in general. For those interested, the game play in Big Brother Canada is so, so, so much better. |

RE: Big Brother 19
Not that it isn't obvious, but production is really helping Paul. Aside from the 3 weeks of safety that helped him, he let it slip in feeds that they put the golden apple there for him (feeds then quickly cut). He apparently also knows it's a double eviction this week, too.
