^^Yes about Masie Williams.
Are they going to submit Harington and Clarke in lead again? I can see justification for it, but I think it KILLS their chances at getting nominated, which we have proof of from last year. |

RE: Game of Thrones: The Final Season
Season five and six of Braavos seemed interminable, but it was worth it to see Arya do that.

Yeah, I'll echo the general praise. That was exceptional.

I'm obsessively listening to "The Night King."

Same here. Ramin Djiwadi is so brilliant. And this composition is so haunting and beautiful.

RE: Game of Thrones: The Final Season
I finally finished my re-watch of the first 7 seasons and have started season 8. I’d like this all more if I actually thought Jon and Dany had any chemistry.
Sansa is terrific. |

I think both performers are actually quite solid AND have both demonstrated romantic/sexual chemistry on the show before (Harrington with Leslie, natch; Clarke with Huisman) but the seventh season was a step back simply because this aspect, which all the characters were articulating, wasn't visible. |

RE: Game of Thrones: The Final Season
I just now saw season 8 episode 3. Wow. HBO must have fixed the lighting issue. Techs were stellar, though sometimes so crazy I had no idea what was happening (I know that was probably the point, but as a viewer it’s still annoying). Unfortunately I had seen that Arya killed the NK, but I knew nothing else and it was all very suspenseful and paced well. I can’t imagine that library scene had I not known Arya survived.
Speaking of, yes ma’am, Arya!! Sansa in her own way, too. And Dany. Love the women in this show. The score in that last third was phenomenal. My only complaint is, as many have said, I think more of the main characters should have died. That situation was BLEAK yet nearly we know everyone survived (though not my beloved Lady Mormont). |

RE: Game of Thrones: The Final Season
They should submit Gwendoline Christie this season. She's very much worthy of a nomination and she has two good episodes to choose from. But I read somewhere HBO is going with only the usual suspects: Harington and Clarke in Lead; Dinklage, Turner, Williams, Coster-Waldau and Headey in Supporting. I suppose they could also submit Carice van Houten in Guest.
