Emmy nominations are out! Does no one care around here?
Girls5Eva was robbed! Emily in Paris?!? WTF?!? Bo Burnham got SIX nominations! Does anyone know if that's a record? |

RE: 73rd Emmys Awards (2020/2021)
With all of the (way too much) love for "Handmaid's Tale," they missed an opportunity to nominate Moss is directing. Some of the noms for this show are truly ridiculous. I AM very happy for O-T Fagbenle (the actor who plays Luke and my future husband) and Adam Taylor (composer). But Max Minghella? Vomit.
Seems like "Hamilton" did much better than expected, and Emerald Fennell is having a GREAT year. So happy for her, even though I have never watched "The Crown." This show and "The Mandalorian" lead with 24 noms each. Also, go "Mare of Easttown"! |

RE: 73rd Emmys Awards (2020/2021)
The Crown could very conceivably have a Schitt's Creek-like sweep in Drama. Actress in a Limited Series is easily the best category. I'd probably go with Anya Taylor-Joy, but it's an incredible lineup.

Ted Lasso and The Crown are going to win everything. Am I right in assuming that?

RE: 73rd Emmys Awards (2020/2021)
I'm very happy for Pose, especially Mj Rodriguez (and Billy Porter but that was a given)!
Also happy for Gillian Anderson and the one nomination for Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special. Even though I didn't watch either program. LOL. Plus Bowen Yang, whose show I do watch. I've heard a lot of good things about The Boys. I might have to start watching that soon. |
