RE: Cannes 2022
Resurfacing for a quick second to communicate my happiness over the recognition that Joyland has received. Remains to be seen if the film even gets a local release in Pakistan considering the amount of 'moral' policing in the country but I am grateful for this small win. Will shortly be meeting one of the producers, Sarmad as he launches a new film next week and can't wait to give him the biggest hug (with his consent).
