RE: Oscars 2024
I saw a clip of Kim Kardashian on the new season of AHS, and her character talks about blowjobs for Gotham Awards and Jamie Lee Curtis answering questions about nepo babies because she wanted an Oscar and it's every damn thing.

RE: Oscars 2024
Killers of the Flower Moon will surely get a Best Picture nom, which means Jesse Plemons will have been in a Best Picture nominee in 6 of the past 9 years. That's of course in addition to his stellar TV career where he was in three all-time great shows; Friday Night Lights, Breaking Bad, and Fargo. He was also in one of the most celebrated episodes of Black Mirror. With all of that I think my favorite performance of his might be in the terrific Game Night.

He will always be Landry (Lance, according to Coach Taylor) Clark to me, but his has definitely been an awesome post-breakthrough career. |

RE: Oscars 2024
I’ve seen 12 of this year’s International Feature entries this year since I will be unable to see any others before the Top 15 shortlist drops on the 21st, here is my quick assessment of what I’ve seen:
In order of preference: 01. France 02. The Philippines 03. Japan 04. Iceland 05. Finland 06. South Korea 07. Argentina 08. The Netherlands 09. Costa Rica 10. Mongolia 11. Singapore 12. Taiwan I actually liked them all (although I’m kind of meh with the Taiwanese entry) but I loved the Top 3. In order of likelihood to be nominated: 01. France 02. Finland 03. Japan 04. Iceland 05. Argentina 06. South Korea 07. The Philippines 08. The Netherlands 09. Costa Rica 10. Mongolia 11. Singapore 12. Taiwan |
