This really is the worst season I've ever seen. and I DO NOT say that every season. Every one of those people is terrible ... at everything. And I don't care for any of them.

Shocking episode, especially how little anyone but Mike and Jenn seemed to care about the awful comments directed at Shirin. Yeah, it's hard to cheer for any of these people. I guess I like Sierra best, but since Jeff is happy about the winner, it'll probably be Mike (who kicked off the episode with an incredibly stupid move) or Rodney (and if that's the case, disgusting).

That has been true of most of the altercations this season. I assume people don't want to say anything out of fear of ruining their game.

Well, voting out Shirin was dumb in and of itself, but with the way the numbers were, who else would have gone? Carolyn is tight with Tyler, and the other two pairs (Rodney/Will and Sierra/Dan) felt like they were in the top with the Tyler/Carolyn pair. Dan now realizes he's not, but I can see why he didn't flip tonight. As much as I don't like Mike, I do give him props for that move tonight as it did shake-up the main alliance.

Dan has to be one of the dumbest players ever in the game. He refers to moves he's never made in his future as his reason for winning? Keep blowing that smoke. And equating Shirin's abuse story with karma for... who knows what? Disgusting. He doesn't care that his head's on the chopping block. Incredible. Will is no better.

I at least understood Sierra's argument tonight, but Shirin was dead right on everything, including inability to swing the vote equaling no power. So I guess this is Tyler's march to the sea? I love that he was floored by the stupidity around him. I would much, much rather have him win than Rodney. Either Dan or Will would easily be the worst winner in Survivor history, but of course that won't happen (unless they took each other - I can't even imagine). If Taylor takes Carolyn, I hope Shirin lays into her for being over-the-top nasty to her all game.

MV, I see what you're saying but in Survivor, flipping the script is the game. Dan's an idiot, but Sierra should have found a way to flip. People who say things like I didn't have an option don't win because they don't think outside the box. (Sierra really should have been counting the numbers last week and realizing what needed to happen - it'd be four on four this week thanks to an idol play/betrayal, and then someone would flop if they had to go with rocks.)

At least Will made the move of flipping and put himself in a better position? He apparently played double agent for awhile with the no collars (Hali said they didn't know Will wasn't with them until after Joe's eviction).

I don't see anyone to this point who has played a great game in terms of being interesting. For someone like Tyler who is in a great position it makes sense to stay the course, but it isn't very fun to watch. He also made a blunder in voting for Dan last night. I'd say Carolyn has played the best game.

I saw an interview with Shirin where she made a great case for herself that she could have gotten 5 jury votes - the 3 no collars, Mike, and possibly Sierra - had she made it to the end. I don't think it was necessarily dumb that they got rid of her.

At Final 3, you definitely don't want her. At Final 8? You want to boot competition threats with solid jury arguments. With Mike, Tyler and Rodney still around, my #1 worry wouldn't be Shirin. Her vote and Mike's vote were pretty much up for grabs, and you can still go after them once your top threat is gone. The game is about timing. I think she'd win at Final 2, but I also think if I wasn't Tyler or Carolyn, I'd keep her at Final 8.
