It looks like HBO will be launching their standalone service in April for $15 a month. It'll be called HBO Now. I wonder what kind of impact this may have?

Yeah, that wasn't announced right away, unfortunately. I think it's a lame decision. Hopefully it isn't long-term.

It's short-term. Apple has a three-month exclusive as a digital seller of the service. And you can watch through your browser as well, although most people will have to actually sign up on an Apple device.

I'm finally done with Scandal. That stunt with Huck last night? Terrible. Lena's character made that great speech about women owning their bodies, but the show undermines that perspective all of the time. The way Jake and Fitz discussed Olivia throughout the episode last night was awful, and "Lena" and Abby having to defend themselves while Huck continues to do much worse without need for explanation (and with the help of Quinn despite how he's treated her) is outright offensive.

Connie Britton is back with a Ryan Murphy anthology series. She will star in American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson. She'll play Faye Resnik, who I am not at all familiar with. But it's always nice to see Britton pop up in a series.

Maybe since American Crime Story is only 10 episodes long, she'll be able to shoot it in the off-season of Nashville. I know that show's on the bubble, but it could still come back for a fourth season.
