RE: Oscar Dinner
1917 has to be milk.
Little Women - there is the Christmas feast they bring over. And the champagne Meg was sipping. Jojo - Trying to remember what they had for dinner... Also bread scraps would work. Also trying to remember what Pitt was eating in his trailer with his beer in Once... |

Now that we know the nominees....
Belfast - Turkish delight CODA - Definitely fish. Don't Look Up - fingerling potatoes and salmon (or $5 chips). Drive My Car - A sushi dish called tuna nagiri (it looks like the car in the movie) Dune - spice of course! King Richard - country club cheeseburgers and/or peanut butter sandwiches. Licorice Pizza - licorice and pizza. LOL. Nightmare Alley - I've only seen the older version so I don't know if this applies here but: chicken (with the head on). The Power of the Dog - fried chicken and salad. West Side Story - Some sort of Puerto Rican and Irish fusion dish. |

RE: Oscar Dinner
It applies to the new version as well. For NA, I would also say that popcorn and cotton candy would work for a carnival setting.
WSS could be a traditional Puerto Rican dish (Arroz con gandules, mofongo, pasteles, etc.) and a well-known NYC dish (pizza, hot dog, etc.) KR could be some bougie food from a country club or something. Wasn't Ellis's character making sandwiches for the girls in the kitchen during one scene? I forgot what she was making. |

For WSS, ropa vieja is one of Rita Moreno's favorite dishes.
