Wait. "The Bells" was not submitted for Directing? Wow. Or could Sapochnik only be submitted for one episode? If so, they went with the right one. I hope it gets nothing for writing, though, but that will not happen. And they only submitted the finale. Vomit.
Djawadi better run away with Score. |

Fox still submitted Jussie Smollett but Netflix didn't even bother submitting Felicity Huffman. Jason Mitchell, who was recently dropped from EVERYTHING for allegations that are rumored to be sexual was submitted in Lead/Drama for "The Chi" (deserves the nomination) but not for Guest/Comedy for "Forever" (deserved the win) while Hong Chau was submitted for the same episode.

"Sex Education" was submitted as a drama series for some dumb fucking reason. So that's out. If Netflix petitioned for "Russian Doll" despite it's hour long running time, I don't see why they didn't do the same for their other new dramedy series that plays more into the laughs.

Russian Doll's episodes were in the half-hour and under range.

I am hoping for Billy Porter, but they really fucked up putting him in lead.

Ken Jeong and D'ARCY CARDEN (!!!) are going to announce the Emmy nominees. Hopefully that's good news for The Good Place, and maybe even Carden herself.
