a) What's the difference between HBO and HBO Maxx

Am I right in assuming that? b) I think so, though watch for Jean Smart to have long coattails. c) Cobra Kai is a figment of my imagination and not a real show. I will not brook any arguments. d) The Golden Globes went for Emily in Paris and it broke them. e) These are very underwhelming. |

Yeah, when streaming first became 'a thing' the benefit is that it was cheaper than having cable. Now that there are so many streaming platforms and more and more networks have their own instead of being affiliated with Hulu or someone, it's getting to where having 5-6 streaming platforms is as expensive as cable. |

RE: 73rd Emmys Awards (2020/2021)
Since I am here on the boards for the Olympics, I want to say that I don't really see arguments where The Flight Attendant is a comedy. There are some humor, but by episode 3 or 4, I really don't see the writers aiming for laughs. Mare of Easttown has more jokes per episode, on average. Will award bodies/producers ever acknowledge that dramas can last less than an hour? Or do we just have to accept that shows are comedies if they are comedic in tone for the first episode, regardless of what happened next? This is even worse than Russian Doll, in terms of categorization.

The Flight Attendant is not as bad as Nurse Jackie's category fraud, but it does reek. Russian Doll was a Comedy Series as far as I was concerned but The Flight Attendant is purely dramatic with a humorous tone.
