RE: Oscars 2023
A spot should be made for Regina Hall in "Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul". Some of the best work you'll see all year. Quality balance of tone on her part, not so much the movie. She KILLS everything that's asked of her.

RE: Oscars 2023
Apparently Michelle Williams is being pushed as Lead. Adjust your predictions accordingly. Her sure win status is now gone.

RE: Oscars 2023
I'm more than ok with this if it means she doesn't win but yes, what a blunder.

RE: Oscars 2023
She looks incredible in the trailer, and if she is in Supporting, she is very good to win.
HOWEVER, I think Ana de Armas is going to win Actress. And the irony if she beat Williams?? LOL! |

Blonde’s reviews are way too mixed for de Armas to win. Heck, a nomination may be an uphill battle for her. Actress currently is widely regarded as a Blanchett vs. Yeoh race. |

RE: Oscars 2023
Yeah, de Armas is not beating either Blanchett or Yeoh and may not even be nominated. Williams doesn't have a shot against either of those two either, so I can't imagine what the idiots who made this decision were thinking.

RE: Oscars 2023
I put nothing past a historical biopic. I think de Armas will easily get nominated. Yeoh is more of hopedicting, imo. I have seen neither so have no dog in the fight.

RE: Oscars 2023
Blonde is at 53% on RT. I wouldn't call NC-17 biopics typical Oscar fare. And why haven't you seen EEAAO?
